Isabella is beyond words in her excitement to play in one of the finest stories of feminine power and pride. She is a classically trained actress and has appeared in several Utah theatre productions. Most recently she has appeared as Alais in The Lion in Winter (Centerpoint Theatre), Hermione in The Winters Tale and stretched her chops as Macduff in the Scottish Play (New World Shakespeare). She’s previously worked with Utah Shakespeare Festival, On Pitch Performing Arts and Simon Fest. Isabella received her BFA in Classical Acting from Southern Utah University, during which she trained in stage combat with the SAFD, performed in over 10 productions ranging from Shakespeare to contemporary
works and taught Shakespeare to youth actors.
Ryan Kinville is positively jazzed to make his debut with ThreePenny. To him, Bosola represents the burnt-out worker tackling an all-too-common struggle: compromising moral character to get bread on the table. Hey: you just work here, so you’re not responsible for the corruption… right?
Ryan’s recent credits include CenterPoint’s The Lion in Winter (Philip), New World Shakespeare’s The Winter’s Tale (Leontes—to be revived this fall!), WTC’s Gross Indecency (Queensberry), and several Parker Theatre productions: Hamlet (Horatio), The Sword and the Stone (Kay), and Much Ado About Nothing (Don Pedro).
Victor Acosta has just graduated with an associates of science in Theater. He has worked on many short films with the U of U film department as an actor, special FX and make-up artists, and Production assistant. He is currently pursuing a career in acting, and hopes to one day be able to live off of acting and writing. He owes his drive to follow his passion to his partner.
Sydney Lorraine Vance is thrilled to be continuing her relationship with the Threepenny Theatre Co. by playing Ferdinand in Duchess of Malfi. Sydney always enjoys being a part of unique artistic pursuits that bring something fresh to Utah audiences. She has recently done so in a variety of venues such as bars, arts markets, online, and of course theaters . Sydney hopes that she can continue sharing her love of performance arts with Utah audiences for some time to come .
Kallie Filanda (The Cardinal) is an actor, theatre teacher, and producer based in Salt Lake City. She graduated from Westminster College, where she received her BFA in Theatre Performance. Regional acting credits include The Sin of Self Love (Demetrius) with An Other Theatre Company, As You Like It (Phoebe) with MadKing Shakespeare Company, King Lear (Oswald) with New World Shakespeare Company, The Merchant of Venice (Jessica) with Grassroots Shakespeare Company, Machinal (Helen Jones), The Cripple of Inishmaan (Helen McCormick), and Two Gentlemen of Verona (Panthino), all with Westminster College. Her next project is Squeak with Plan-B Theatre Company, where she will be working as their Free Elementary School Tour Manager.
Alia is thrilled to participate in her first production with ThreePenny Theatre Company! She is currently pursuing an Associate of Science degree in Theatre Arts at Salt Lake Community College. Alia is determined to explore the full range of human emotion in new and powerful ways. She wishes to thank her family, friends, and partner for their constant love and support.
Abyanna Wood is an upcoming junior in the Actor Training Program at the University of Utah. She was born and raised in the Salt Lake valley. Abyanna is a proud descendant of the Navajo (Diné) tribe. She has performed in productions including As You Like It (Celia), Indian Radio Days (ThreePenny Theatre Co.), and The Crucible (Abigail Williams). She is excited to be working with ThreePenny again! Abyanna would like to thank her family for their constant support.
Jonah Kirkhart is a writer, director, and actor. He’s the artistic director of ThreePenny Theatre Company and co-founder of Busking Bus Theatre Company (@buskingbustheatre). His written works include An American in Beirut (Uptown Theatre), Rime of the Ancient Mariner (ThreePenny Theatre Company), and an upcoming adaptation of The Legends of Sleepy Hollow (Timpanogos Arts Center).
