VIVIANE TURMAN
VIVIANE TURMAN (Pavel/Nero) is incredibly excited to return to the Three Penny stage with this wonderfully queer world premiere! They are a Westminster alumnus with a BFA in Theatrical Performance. Viviane, an actor and figure artist, centers fat and queer liberation in their work. Hans Fenton
Hans Fenton is a Black actor, singer-songwriter, and theatre artist
with a BFA from the Actor Training Program at the University of Utah,
where he is also pursuing a second degree in Economics. His recent
credits include The School for Scandal (Meldrum Theatre), The
Lightning Thief and You on the Moors Now (Babcock Theatre), as well as
Dreamgirls and The Full Monty (The Grand Theatre). Hans is passionate
about new work, heightened language, queer and diverse storytelling,
and psychologically rich characters who live at the intersection of
love, power, grief, and imagination. He is grateful to be part of The
Death of Nero and excited to help bring this world premiere production
to life.

camas (they / them; Jester 1) is delighted to be joining ThreePenny Theatre Company for the mounting of this very special production. Previous roles of theirs have included Frank ([sic], ThreePenny Theatre Company), Master Slender (The Merry Wives of Windsor, New World Shakespeare Company), and Pastor Paul (The Christians, Westminster College).
Mitch Tyler
Mitch Tyler is honored to be a part of the world premiere of this compelling and thought-provoking piece of history. It marks his second show with ThreePenny, following his outrageously grand and absurd time playing Mr. Martin in last summer's 'The Bald Soprano'. Some other recent favorites of his include 'The Hiss' with Lark and Loon as part of the Great Salt Lake Fringe Festival, 'Much Ado About Nothing' with EMCT, 'Dog Sees God' with Wasatch Theatre Co., and '4/20/99: A Story of Columbine' at the Regent Street Blackbox. He hopes that you laugh and feel all the rest of the feels as you watch the show.
Tony Trunnel
Tony Trunnell is a SLC based actor, sound designer, playwright, and stage manager. He’s been involved in theater since elementary school, on both the technical side and onstage. He is currently a Senior in the ATP at the University of Utah. His most recent credits include Under Observation at the GSLFringe, and A School For Scandal in the Meldrum Theater.Outside of theater, he loves reading, sewing, cooking, and spending time with his dog, Ladybug.
Keenan Shionalyn
Keenan Shionalyn is excited to be working on this show as a dramaturg, translator, and occasional assistant director. As a scholar artist their work examines the ways performance creates new ideas through alternative ways of knowing. Deeply rooted in queer theory, their work attempts to bring works erased, silenced, or sidelined through history back into contemporary consciousness. His has recently completed his Ph.D. in Theatre and Drama, focused on discovering the queer potentiality within Kuzmin's wide breadth of theatrical works. Keenan is excited to be back in his home state to see Kuzmin's most complicated and personal play finally reach the stage nearly 100 years after its writing. Beyond his work with Kuzmin, Keenan serves as the artistic co-director of Balagan Pigeon Theatre, a group dedicated to the staging of underexplored works through a queer and feminist lens.
Syd Peronnet
Syd Peronnet is an artist, actor, and stage director based in Salt Lake City. They’ve been working with ThreePenny Theatre Company for the last 4 years wearing miscellaneous hats, loving every minute of it. Syd has always enjoyed going from one skill set to the next, but found their love for directing during their time at SLCC when they were given the opportunity to direct for the Fringe Festival in 2016. Syd is grateful for the opportunity to tell the story The Death of Nero and hopes to continue their directing journey in the future
