Bryson Dumas
Bryson Dumas is a local performer that you may have seen in works such as Overemployed at the Salt Lake Fringe festival. He's bringing his fun and wild energy to work on a unique original work!

Catherine Mortimer
Catherine is once again feeling so lucky to be working with ThreePenny and a stellar cast and crew, on a script she has loved for years. She is honored to be a part of bringing it now to life through the lovable and scrappy Aunna on her quest to find answers, or just to ask the questions. Life is profound and absurd, so enjoy this play about pigeons ☺️

Lola Binks
Lola Binks is an actress, playwright, and AADA-West alum who splits her time between SLC and LA, but is never far from a black box theater. Her recent-ish roles in “Small Lake City” include Mrs Smith in the Bald Soprano (ThreePenny) and the Countess in All’s Well That Ends Well (New World Shakespeare). Prior roles in the Long Beach/LA area include Robin Starveling in A Midsummer Night's Dream, Boots in Revenge of the Space Pandas, and Beth/Abby in Wet Hot American Summer: The Play? She wrote and directed Hat Box for Garage Theatre (2024 Best New Play nominee/BroadwayWorld LA) and is currently workshopping a second full-length fever dream about cults and the people who love them. You look nice today.

Eva Terranova
Eva Terranova is a performer with a history of performances in Utah including recent appearances in Annie at Ogden Musical Theatre, Jesus Christ Superstar at the Grand Theatre and Measure for Measure with New World Shakespeare. Eva brings a bright and powerful aura to Pigeons of Krakow, and is a wonderful addition to our flock!

Rick Curtis
Rick Curtis is excited to be back on stage after a half decade break, and to work with ThreePenny Theatre and Director Landon Kraczek on this hilarious new work!

J Attridge
J. Attridge is a trans nonbinary actor born and raised in the land of fry sauce and dirty sodas. They studied theatre and psychology at Southern Utah University. Their previous roles include Denver in "Generation Red" with ThreePenny Theatre Company, Henry in "Henry V" with the Grassroots Shakespeare Company, and Hamlet in "Withered All" with the Kingswood Players. Ask them for pigeon facts, please; they have to get them out of their system!

Landon Kraczek
Landon Kraczek is a director and producer in the Salt Lake Valley. Notable directorial credits include Red, Beauty and the Beast, Romeo and Juliet, Broken Light, Builders of America, and A Night of Blacker Darkness. As co-founder of Busking Bus Theater, he has produced over 400 hours of programming in 7 cities, attracting over 35,000 people to enjoy performance art. Outside of theater, he has a master’s in urban planning, has served as chair of the Salt Lake City Planning Commission, and leads public space art installation projects. Look for his next project, Bees Around the Block, where he will install seven statues across Main Street.
Pigeons of Krakow, is passion project that ended Landon’s 7-year directorial hiatus. He is honored by the trust put in him by the writer Trenton Kraczek to bring his unique piece to life. He has been so impressed with the kind, human-centered team at Three Penny Theater, who epitomize the phrase “people over profits.” He believes they truly are some of the most genuine people working in the local theater scene today.
Directors Note
The directorial concept frames the show as a play by pigeons, for pigeons. We as humans move through a world where we bob beneath the massive feet of corporations and political movements, pecking at or rejecting the remnants left behind by those in power. In that landscape, it’s easy to feel small, and a need for control. From a distance, we might even look like comical birds, bouncing back and forth, hyper-focused, picking through trash finding old beliefs, ideology’s and entertainment. We chase anything that promises meaning, only to find ourselves unsatisfied and darting in another direction.
Many of us exist in a post-religious culture saturated with existential thought, we are told to create our own meaning. But self-made meaning can leave us longing for something that is unconditionally true. This play doesn’t offer Truth. Instead, it presents a response: a group of friends choosing to make something together, inviting others to watch and enjoy. In doing so, they create connection, take control of what is within their reach even if it is literal trash, and share meaning with one another.
