“But what about their activism” I can hear you shouting from the back, which by the way is very rude, settle down.

By organizing with both local and international charities they were able to organize a double matched donation system. That would bring in $18,500 dollars for the Adopt-a-Future Program.

This year in 2019 the Plan-B theatre company successfully put on a production of "The Post Office", in conjunction with the United Nations Civil Society Conference. By organizing with both local and international charities they were able to organize a double matched donation system. That would bring in $18,500 dollars for the Adopt-a-Future Program. A program that brings art and education to children suffering in refugee camps. The money was specifically given to the Kakuma refugee camp in Kenya.

In 2013 they started the Free Elementary School Tour or FEST for short. A program that brings theatre to schools and helps get students involved in the arts and connect with performances in a real and meaningful way.

In addition to their work with UNCSC, Plan B has participated in multiple activism projects over the years. In 2013 they started the Free Elementary School Tour or FEST for short. A program that brings theatre to schools and helps get students involved in the arts and connect with performances in a real and meaningful way. In a day when arts are constantly being cut from schools all across the country, programs like this are vital in making up the gap and providing creative outlets to kids growing up in turbulent times. This program was so successful and long running it became integrated into Professional Outreach Programs in the Schools and is now supported by the Utah Legislature.

This is just another piece of evidence that art from small beginnings can go on to change not only the lives of those who interact with it, but also create real political change in the world we live in. By supporting the arts we can help show our support for the improvements to our society that art represents.
